We all are busy in our lives with office work, household work with our daily routines and activities.
On this auspicious day atleast , can we look back on what we can draw from Lord Rama's life?
We Hindus believe in Rama and Krishna avataras. We believe that God has descended in the form of dashavataras to destroy the injustice or uncontrollable sins happening in this world. So is it just enough to perform pooja or residing ashtotram to Lord Rama or any deity? How many people are happy with their lives? How many people are content with the life they lead ? Some people believe in idol worship, they indeed believe that because of the pooja they were offering will please lord and finally his wishes will be fulfilled by him. If it happens as we expected we will be happy, but will we take in the same way if get unexpected results? And this cycle will be going throughout life.
But after reading Geetha, my perspective towards how I do my karma is changed. We as an individual wont do anything just because we have to do, we will be concetrating more on what we will get. But Geetha clearly says do karma just because you have to and dont think anything in return or dont think about the result. This is called nishkama karma. Without expecting anything in return just do you work. I feel this mode of performing our karma, will definitely makes our life easy. Because many problems will arise from the expectations and how we decide/judge people.
